The Sugar Bowl Cafe occupied the former Minnehaha State Bank building for many years after the bank consolidated and moved to the Lake Street location. Kruckeberg's Drug Store was located at the right on the corner of 27th Ave. S. & E. 25th St. The area was razed in the 1960s for urban renewal.
