This two-story frame residence is one of the few stone and shingle style houses in the city. A steeply sloping gable roof dominates the front facade. Wood shingles, a material characteristic of the Queen Anne style, cover the gable ends, while the first story is veneered in rusticated limestone.
Features include a shed-roofed front porch with limestone posts, second-story dormers, and a bay window on the west facade with stained glass. Leaded-glass sidelights flank the main doorway, and to the side a triple window, framed by limestone posts, contains eighteen lights in its central upper sash and twelve in the side sashes. The structure also displays the irregular massing and an asymmetrical plan typical of the Victorian style.
