The Minnehaha Depot was built in 1875 to replace a smaller station on the Milwaukee Road line into the Twin Cities from Chicago. Minneapolis residents rode the train to Minnehaha Park, exiting the train at this historic depot. The depot is owned by the Minnesota Historical Society and managed by the Minnesota Transportation Museum.
