This Queen Anne house, designed by architect H.S. Treherne, features a three-story rounded corner turret, a polygonal dormer, and a steeply pitched hipped roof with intersecting gables.
History
The original owners and occupants were Mark and Mary Fay. Mark Fay was the co-owner of Murray and Fay, a real estate, loan and insurance agency located on St. Anthony Avenue. In 1887 Murray and Fay entered the plat for Murray and Fay's Subdivision of Merriam's Outlots, an area north of this house.
