The year was 1982, and two recent college graduates Denise and Aris Arambadjiis decided to move to the Twin Cites to join friends. Aris spotted a vacant restaurant at the corner of Lyndale and Lake, and the couple secured financing to open a Greek restaurant. The eatery opened on May 15, and just two weeks later was chosen as a critic’s choice in the Minneapolis Star Tribune. Now in their 25th year of business, they have expanded their property three times to meet popular demand.
