History
Built as a single family home the Gustav Willius Residence was elegantly perched above the growing city skyline. As time continued on the home evolved into a hospital. By 1912 it was St. John's German Lutheran Hospital. By 1915 the house was gone, replaced by part of the present site of Metro State University.
