The Education Department presents an annual exhibition of the work of students in Kindergarten through grade 12 throughout the state of Minnesota. Students entering in the Individual Exhibits division may submit a variety of items (drawings, paintings, sewing, jewelry, reports and creative writing). Projects conceived and executed at home as well as school projects are welcome. The Technology Education division includes architectural working drawings, photography, welding, woodworking, CO2 cars and solar boats, among others. Agricultural Technology division showcases exhibits such as wood and metalworking, large construction, nursery landscape designs, and others by students enrolled in a high school vocational agriculture class. In 2008, over 3300 items were entered and exhibited.
