Bemiji Beltrami County

The courthouse in the area was originally served by a store on Fourth and Beltrami Ave. It also served as a jail and as a refuge from those fleeing the Sugar Point Indian Uprising. It was later sold and became the Corner Drug Store. It was destroyed in a fire in 1930.
