Additions:	1955 - a flat roofed, red-brown brick bulilding, connected via east wing. 1966 - East wing expanded forward to the street. 1972 - Third story added 1976 - Four stories of brick above a high lime stone basement were built. Each story was completed as needed. 1982 - Parking Ramp built. 1983 - Jail built and connected to government center via skyway.

Anoka Anoka County

The Minnesota Historical Society holds many of the historical records, such as naturalization and civil and criminal case files, from this courthouse. State laws restrict some access to records. The Minnesota State BAR association published The First 100 Years— , which holds a more complete history of the judicial history on both the local and state levels.
