History

The records of the 1919-1920 Minnesota World War I Soldier’s Bonus Board (#10016) indicate that Alexander Carr (1897- ,) a 1917 enlistee and a Private in Company A of the 160th Infantry, who was born in Aiynshire, Scotland, had blue eyes, dark brown hair, and a ruddy complexion, was 5' 5 1/2" tall, served in the American Expeditionary Force in France, including Meuse Argonne, was a creamery worker employed by the Minneapolis Cold Storage Company after the completion of service, and was unmarried, resided with his mother, Annie Cass, at this address. The 1930 city directory indicates that this address was vacant.
