This is a sophisticated and grand house, one of a cluster on this block--unusual for its elaborate Colonial Revival ornamentation, and its Victorian massing.
History
This house has a "wood frame" and "rectangular 1/1 and 2/2" fenestration, with a "hipped" roof style and "one interior brick" chimney. Wide overhanging eaves. Large modillions under eaves. 2 story 3 sided projecting bay windows on front, west, facade, 1st floor has 2/2 fixed lights. 4 fluted round columns support open porch roof topped by a balustrade and classical urn finials at corners atop posts. 1st floor east facade window has cut leaded bevelled glass transom and side lights.[1]
