On July 25, 1932, two hit men from the Murder Inc. syndicate gunned down bootlegger Abe Wagner and his partner, Al Gordon, here in broad daylight. The Green Dragon Cafe was located approximately where Applebees Bar and Grill is currently in the left of the picture.[1]
