Charles A. Lindbergh, Sr. had this home built in 1906. "Lindbergh Sr. had emigrated from Sweden as a child. He married Evangeline Lodge Land in 1901, and they built a three-story mansion at this site that burned down in 1905. After the fire Evangeline wanted a simpler home built, the bungalow that stands here today."
