This house was built at a cost of $5,000 for John J. Dewey who lived here. This elegant Queen Anne house is one of the most intact and ornate patternbook type houses in the area. It is very similar in design to a nearby house on West Minnehaha Avenue. Regrettably, the white paint does little to accentuate its wonderfully intact decorative features.
